At the present time, we participate in training medical students and residents. Students and residents are encouraged to arrange electives/selective at least 6 months in advance. Limited space is available. Neurology and PM&R residents may arrange core EMG rotations, and elective/selective time for EDX and/or NMSKUS training. Core EMG rotations are possible for junior residents and case exposure for nerve conduction studies is high. Exposure to Neuromuscular Ultrasound is expected for any rotation as it is integral to the diagnosis and management of focal peripheral neuropathies.
Dr. Inkpen is also creating a series of informational how-to videos on neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound. More information about those videos and additional resources to help you become a better ultrasonographer can be found at learningultrasound.info
